Warrnambool's beaches are an attraction that can be enjoyed all year
round. Relaxing and refreshing in summer, enjoyable and invigorating
during the cooler months. Access to the beach is right at our back door.

Boardwalk and Breakwater.
You will enjoy this wonderful beachside walk. The concrete boardwalk
stretches for six kilometres from the breakwater through to Grannys
Grave. A stroll along the boardwalk will simply delight with ocean and
natural scenery along the way. Cycling is also permitted on the
boardwalk.

Southern Right Whale Nursery.
Warrnambool is regarded as Australia's Southern Right Whale Nursery.
Each year between June and October Logans Beach is home to
Southern Right Whales who calve in the shallow waters only metres from
shore. An experience not to be missed.

Lake Pertobe Adventure Playground.
Virtually opposite is a wonderful facility for all to enjoy. Warrnambool's
award winning recreational reserve where you can relax with a stroll
around the lake walking tracks, feed the birds, ride the paddle boats or
enjoy a picnic or bbq. There is a maze, flying fox, playground equipment
that will definately delight the children and young at heart.

are brought to life at Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village and Museum.

Shipwrecked Sound & Laser Show.
A marvelous night time Sound and Laser light show that is world class.
Shipwrecked is a complete theatrical experience that magically brings to
life the tale of the Loch Ard shipwreck in 1878. Discover the story of one
of Australia's most fascinating shipwreck tales about the world famous
Loch Ard Peacock which along with a young man and women
miraculously survived the tragic Loch Ard shipwreck off the local
coastline.

Cheese World.
Free cheese tasting is a feature at Cheese World. Wine and cheese
sales, restaurant and rural museum displaying many items that were
used by the districts dairy and rural pioneers. Situated on the Great
Ocean Road.

Tower Hill State Game Reserve.
Located 15 minutes drive from Warrnambool is a wonderful natural
nature reserve. Tower Hill was Victoria's last active volcano some
thousands of years ago and today is a truly must see attraction. Abundant
wildlife, koalas, kangaroos, emus and bird life live around the two large
crater lakes. There is a picnic area, interpretive centre and bush walks.

Historic Port Fairy.
The fishing village of Port Fairy is a scenic 25 minutes drive from
Warrnambool. A former whaling and sealing port, the town is full of
historic buildings, wharf area and some wonderful beaches. Port Fairy is
home of the famous Port Fairy Folk Festival.

The Twelve Apostles.
Warrnambool is ideally located and used by many as a base to explore
the Great Ocean Road and the famous Twelve Apostles, the Grampians
and Ballarat are all within an easy days return trip.
